How does it work?
The Pro Air Jacket combines the latest air bag technology within a lightweight and comfortable jacket. Contact between the rider and saddle is maintained via a lanyard connector while riding, once this contact is interrupted a small C02 cannister fully inflates the jacket in 0.1 second. Ideally worn over a standard body protector, as shown in picture. What does it protect?
The jacket provides excellent shock absorption, distributes pressure and offers protection to the collar of the neck, spine, coccyx and rib cage as well as internal organs. It effectively supports the spinal column so that the neck and trunk have limited movement. Is the jacket reusable?
Yes. Simply replace the C02 gas cartridge and reset the activation key and it's good to go again. Clean with a damp sponge. Must it be worn with a traditional body protector?
No it doesn't need to be, but to achieve maximum protection it is recommended that you do.
